The National Automotive Design and Development Council, NADDC has unveiled Nigeria’s first locally assembled electric car, Hyundai Kona by Stallion Group

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Niyi Adebayo, Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency, Kashifu Inuwa and other distinguished personalities were at the unveiling ceremony in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, on his Twitter handle disclosed that the Ministry in collaboration with NADDC is planning a migration from conventional vehicles to alternative powered vehicles in Nigeria,

The event was followed by a roadshow at various locations across Abuja from Friday to Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Silverbird Entertainment Center, Banex Plaza, AYA junction Asokoro, Transcorp Junction, National Assembly and Federal Secretariat.
