Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association Inaugurates New Exco In Anambra

The Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), Anambra State Chapter has sworn in Dr Victor Ughaerumba as the new Chairman of the Association, to pilot its affairs for the next two years.

He was inaugurated alongside other members of the executive including Dr Ifeoma Etukokwu, Vice chairman, Dr Chukwudi Ode – Secretary, Dr Favour Okore, Assistant Secretary, Dr Amaka Azubuike -Treasurer, Dr Johnson Okoh – PRO, Dr Chinaza Ono – Financial Secretary and Dr Ifeanyi Obiwulu- Ex-Officio 1

In his inaugural speech at the swearing in ceremony held at the State Department of Veterinary Services, Amawbia, Dr Ughaerumba assured that they would uphold the ideals of the association .

The new Chairman, however, noted that all hands must be on desk to take the association to greater heights.

“The past Chairman that left did quite a number of things and took some giant steps, but i believe with your support and cooperation we will be able to continue where he stopped”.

Some of the members of the association urged the new executive to consolidate on the achievements of past leaders, even as they called for more visibility and advocacies on the activities of the association.

Handing over to the new executive and presentation of awards in recognition of dedicated Services to Dr Ifeanyi Obiwulu, immediate past chairman of the association, Dr Nonso Umeononigwe, Dr Chinaza Ono featured at the event.
