Nigeria’s football team at the ongoing African Military Games have won the third place match 4-0 over opponents Equatorial Guinea.
First half saw Nigeria lead by a goal to nil, and in the second half, the Nigerians increased the tally to 4-0 to hand Nigeria football bronze medal.
BASKETBALL FEMALE
The female basketball final match of the African Military Games between Nigeria and Cameroon ended 47 to 86i in favour of neighbours Cameroon.
At the end of first half and second quarter Nigeria trailed Cameroon 32 to 37 and by the end of third quarter, Nigerian team was 40 to Cameroon 65 before the Cameroonians clinched the day with 86to 47 margin against Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Damilola Salwudeen lost to his Algerian counterpart Touareg Mohammed in the men’s 51kg class of boxing event at the ongoing AMGA games in Abuja.
