Nigerian Actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde Opens Up on Surgery
Nollywood Star Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, has shared details of a recent emergency surgery, expressing deep gratitude for her recovery.

In an emotional video posted on her verified Instagram page, the actress reflected on her experience, revealing the scars from the procedure. Lifting her top, she showed her stomach, giving fans a glimpse of her post-surgery journey.
Omotola, a mother of four, admitted that displaying her scar during a Valentine’s Day photoshoot was unintentional. However, she has since embraced it, seeing it as part of her story and strength.
The actress, who underwent gallbladder surgery late last year, continues to receive an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues, who admire her openness and resilience.
Omotola encouraged her fans to embrace both physical and emotional scars, reminding them that they are beautiful just as they are.
She wrote, “Loving Yourself first is the greatest Val gift. Late Last year I had an Emergency Surgery… One of my Best parts of my body is my Tummy … Oh well … Not so perfect now…
“During this shoot I forgot and grabbed my top during my pose and I heard a little voice say … there’s nothing to show anymore…
“Not me ! That thing that’ll shake my Confidence has Not been created. I smiled and danced. I’m Alive … it’s just scars.
“Some people’s Scars are Physical and Some are Emotional … but today , smile, dance and be proud Beautiful, You’re still here and you look darn good too!
“What if I’m not perfect . Would you still Love me?”

This marks the first time Omotola has opened up about her surgery. Last year, the actress faced an undisclosed illness, subtly hinting at her health struggles by sharing a video of herself on a hospital bed. Without revealing much, she expressed gratitude to God while playing Fireboy DML’s Iseoluwa in the background.
