Nigerian Army commends Corps members for invaluable service

Corps Members of the National Youth Service Corps the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in Nigeria have been commended by the Nigerian Army for their invaluable services.

The Brigade Commander, 63 Brigade Nigerian Army Asaba, Delta State, Southern Nigeria,  Brigadier General MLD Saraso gave the commendation on Wednesday when the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General Muhammad Kaku Fadah visited him in his office in Asaba as part of his engagement with critical stakeholders of the Scheme.

According to a statement by the Director, Press and Public Relations of the NYSC, Mr Eddy Megwa, General Saraso specifically hailed the Corps doctors, nurses and other para-medics from NYSC Delta State Secretariat for their untiring disposition to duty.

 “I commend the managers of NYSC for mentoring these Corps Members because they have been of tremendous assistance to us.

 They have stood in and are always on duty. We truly appreciate their support to us”, the Commander said.

He however pledged more support for the NYSC Delta State Secretariat.

Earlier, the NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Muhammad Kaku Fadah appreciated the officers and men of the 63 Brigade for assisting the NYSC Delta State Secretariat, especially during Orientation Courses and also provision of security for Corps Lodges across the State.

He thereafter solicited for more assistance from the Brigade for NYSC Delta State.
