The 6 Brigade Nigerian Army has been making significant strides in ensuring peace and security in Taraba State North East Nigeria.

Under the leadership of Brigadier General KC Uwa, the brigade has been conducting intensive clearance operations to dismantle bandit hideouts and ensure a safe environment for residents.

Recent Achievements: of the brigade according to the spokesperson Captain Oni Olabudunde include:
Apprehended the mastermind behind terrorist attacks on Mararaban Azagawa Village in Taraba State.


– Two-week intensive drivers’ retraining course to enhance work efficiency and reduce accidents.
– Working closely with the Taraba State Government to ensure security and stability in the region.

The 6 Brigade Nigerian Army has been conducting clearance operations in various local government areas, including Ardo-Kola, Lau, Yorro, and Zing.
These operations aim to dismantle bandit hideouts, restore confidence in locals, and ensure a safe harvest season and festive period.

The Brigade commander Brigadier General Uwa emphasized the importance of community sensitisation and collaboration with local vigilantes and hunters to enhance security consciousness.
He urged residents to provide actionable intelligence to support security operations.

The 6 Brigade Nigerian Army remains committed to ensuring peace and security in Taraba State. Their efforts have led to a significant reduction in security challenges, allowing residents to go about their daily activities without fear of attack.
