Nigerian Army Emphasizes Relevant, Adaptive Training

The Nigerian Army has tasked its training institutions to focus on conducting relevant, adaptive, and mission-focused courses to address contemporary operational challenges.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations, Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army, the directive was given by the Chief of Training (Army), Major General Abubakar Ndalolo, during the TRADOC NA 2025 Mid-Year Courses Appraisal Conference.

The conference, which held from June 18 to 21, 2025, at Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army auditorium in Minna Niger State, aimed to evaluate course conduct and implementation gaps across NA training institutions.

Major General Ndalolo emphasised the importance of assessing course impact and aligning with emerging operational demands.

 He reassured that the Army Headquarters Department of Training remains steadfast in facilitating the conduct of courses that are relevant, adaptive, and mission-focused.

The Commander TRADOC NA, Major General Kevin Aligbe, reminded participants of the forthcoming Combat Arms, Combat Support Arms, and Combat Service Arms Field Training Exercise (EXERCISE MUGUN BUGU 2025). 

Major General Aligbe while urging the NA training schools to remain resolute in pursuit of excellence, said  the  Nigerian Army remains committed to capacity building and development of its personnel to combat contemporary security challenges.
