The Nigerian Army troops have successfully dismantled road blockades erected by terrorists in Zamfara and Katsina States with the intent to kidnap passengers, while also neutralising the threat posed by the extremists.

The concerted effort, carried out in two separate operations on Monday, April 1, 2024, is part of the ongoing endeavor to suppress terrorist activities in the Northwest region, driven by the resolute dedication of the Nigerian Army.

In Zamfara State, during a proactive patrol aimed at thwarting terrorist operations, troops swiftly responded to a distress call concerning a blockade on the Anka-Bagega road.
