Nigerian Army Holds Mid-Year Courses Appraisal, Curriculum Harmonization Workshop

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, has declared open a week-long workshop for the Nigerian Army Training Schools at the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Headquarters in Minna, Niger state. 

The workshop in a statement by the TRADOC Spokesperson, Lt Col Sani Uba, aims to appraise and harmonize the curriculum of the Nigerian Army’s mid-year courses. 

Representing the Chief of Army Staff, Major General KO Aligbe, Commander TRADOC Nigerian Army, emphasized the importance of TRADOC as the center of excellence for building the capacity and resourcefulness of Nigerian Army personnel. 

Major General Aligbe urged participants to maximize the opportunities offered at the workshop to upscale their performance and adopt a pragmatic and problem-solving approach, in line with the Chief of Army Staff’s command philosophy.

Major General POA Okoye, TRADOC Chief of Training, encouraged participants to widen their intellectual horizons and make positive contributions to enhance Nigerian Army’s training efforts.

The workshop was attended by dignitaries including Deputy Chief of Training (Army) Major General OS Abai, Departmental Chiefs, and Directors of TRADOC Nigerian Army.

The workshop features presentations and interactive sessions aimed at articulating strategies to enhance professionalism and performance in the Nigerian Army.
