Nigerian Celebrities Storm AMVCA Red Carpet With Gorgeous Outfits
Nollywood celebrities have stormed the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) currently ongoing at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The award is one of the biggest entertainment events in Africa.
The celebrities included Ini Edo, Juliet Ibrahim, Adunni Ade, Tobi Bakare who arrived in stunning attires.
The red carpet began at 4pm while the main event kicked off at 7 pm local time.
Popular Nigerian TV and Radio host, IK Osakioduwa and Miss Universe 2019, South African Zozi Tunzi, are hosts for the night.
The theme of this year’s edition is ‘Cultural Diversity.’
The Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria and chairman of the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria, John Ugbe, explained that the theme of this year’s edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award, AMVCA is important to the company to tell African stories. That is why it was adopted for the 9th edition of the prestigious movie awards.”
Reminiscing on the achievements of MultiChoice Nigeria and how far the AMVCA has come, Ugbe noted that as a result of efforts put into movie productions, recipients of the awards are worthy of it.
