Five Nigerian governors are in Accra, Ghana, to attend the inauguration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama, scheduled to take place on Tuesday at the iconic Black Star Square.
Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, alongside governors of Taraba, Plateau, Zamfara, and Delta States, who are all guests of President-elect Mahama, earlier on Monday met and discussed key issues ahead of the inauguration.
Mahama’s inauguration marks a significant milestone in Ghana’s democratic journey, as he returns to the presidency eight years after losing power, with a promise to revitalize Ghana’s economy.
Mahama’s inauguration is expected to be a grand event, with President Bola Tinubu, ten other heads of state and numerous dignitaries from around the world in attendance.
