The stage is now set for the commencement of production of “Nigeria’s 1914 posterity Documentary series”. It is a movie dedicated for the 60th independence anniversary of Nigeria. It initially began in 2020 but the production was put on hold due to the Corona Virus pandemic.

In Collaboration by the Federal Ministry of information and culture, the 1914 project has the National institute for hospitality and tourism, National Film Corporation as technical partners, N.A.N and the interfora initiative as creative partners.

The documentary is aimed at inspiring this generation and providing a spectacular platform to positively present our country Nigeria to the World.

The project themed ‘Reflecting on the past’, envisioning a greater Future, was greatly inspired by the success of America’s classic movie “Roots” and the Austrian project “Australia”.

The documentary is highly recommended for every Nigerian family at home or in Diaspora because we are proud of our culture and Heritage and we want to showcase the amalgamation of Nigeria in an epic manner.

With its budget of 1.1 billion Naira, the documentary foretells a more advanced part of the Larger Nigeria and it draws great actors and actresses from both Nigeria and Great Britain. It promises to be a high-class movie and will be produced to the highest global standards.
