Nigerian Institute of Public Relations FCT Chapter Holds Annual Conference

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Chapter, is holding its annual conference in Abuja amidst efforts to foster fruitful engagements between the government and citizens.
The theme of the conference is “Reassessing Government-Citizens Engagement in Nigeria for Economic Development”.
The conference aims to encourage participatory and productive government and citizens’ engagements on various aspects of governance needed to foster a conducive environment for economic growth and prosperity in Nigeria.
The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions with experts, practitioners, and stakeholders from the public relations, media, civil society, and government sectors.
Some of the topics that will be discussed at the conference include “The Role of Public Relations in Enhancing Government-Citizens Communication and Trust”, and “The Challenges and Opportunities of Digital Media and Social Networks in Government-Citizens Engagement”.
