A popular social media content creator, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, aka KieKie, is set to host the second season of popular payTV, Startimes’ original series titled, ‘Hello Mr Right. She will be joined by Shine Begho and Oyindamola as co-hosts, while actor, Bolanle Ninalowo, would serve as a relationship mentor.
The programme, which will start airing today, is a matchmaking and dating show where potential matches get to select dates from among other participants.
At a media parley in Ikeja, Lagos, during the week, the Chief Operating Officer of Startimes, Tunde Aina, shed some light on the dynamics of the show. He said, “The show is basically about entertainment. Viewers will see the betrayal and conflict on that stage among the contestants who are vying for a guy. That is part of the beauty of the show.”
On her part, the company’s head of media, Lily Meng, thanked partners and sponsors, including Tolaram Group, Lush Hair, Indomie, Colgate, 9mobile and Caller Tunez, for joining them on a journey to help youths find love. She added that the show would be available on the payTV plan and its mobile app.
Meng also noted that the lucky winner of the show will go home with over N20m worth of prizes. There will also be lots of exciting games in order for contestants to find their perfect match and enjoy free romantic dinner dates. Viewers also stand the chance to win consolation prizes.
She added, “The most exciting part of the show is the ‘Cash-out or Cash-big’ option, which allows the couples to take instant cash prizes ranging from N10,000 to N250,000 Naira, or enter a public vote to win an N5m cash prize as the ‘perfect couple’.
