President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in Lagos State for the Yuletide, marking the festive season away from the nation’s capital, Abuja.
The President arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Saturday evening after commissioning the international wing of the Muhammadu Buhari Airport, a new VIP extension, as well as electric vehicles, intra-state buses, tricycles, and three model primary, junior secondary, and senior secondary schools.

President Tinubu also visited Bauchi State, where he paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi on Saturday.
Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, stated in a statement: “After the condolence visit, President Bola Tinubu will leave for Lagos State, where he will spend the upcoming end-of-year holidays.”
The President is expected to be the guest of honour at the Eyo Festival, scheduled for 27 December, among numerous other engagements while in the city.
