Troops Disrupt Terrorist Supply Routes, Recover N37m in North-East

The Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI has intensified efforts to disrupt terrorist logistics and financing networks in the region.

In a series of coordinated operations, troops have recovered a significant cache of supplies and seized N37 million suspected to be linked to terrorist financing.

The operations, conducted on February 16, 2026, involved a night ambush along a known terrorist crossing route and the interception of a suspicious vehicle at the Chabbal Checkpoint.

The recovered funds and supplies in a statement by Lt Col Sani Uba the spokesperson of the operation are believed to be intended for terrorist resupply operations, and their seizure is expected to significantly disrupt the terrorists’ sustainment capacity.

The Military High Command has commended the troops and collaborating security agencies for their vigilance and professionalism.

The Operation HADIN KAI remains committed to restoring peace and stability in the North East region.
