Nigerian Military Urges Personnel To Be Of Good Conduct

The Chief of Civil Military Affairs of the Nigerian Army, Major General Nosakhare Ugbo has urged personnel to be professional and be of good conduct while carrying out their civic responsibility of protecting lives and properties.

The sensitization workshop was held at the 35 Artillery Brigade Vulcans Officers’ Mess in Alamala Barracks, with the theme “ A proper Conduct of Nigerian Army Soldiers Within A Larger Society.”

Major General Ugbo said the workshop was tailored to ensure troops carry out their duties according to international best practices and standards.

He added that the conduct of the workshop was in line with the Nigerian Army’s Philosophy geared towards training personnel to achieve professionalism and efficiency.

Speaking during the event, the Commander 35 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Mohammed Tajudeen Aminu stated that the workshop was apt considering the recent developments in the society and how it affects military personnel.

He pointed out that in line with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Nigerian Army will continue to provide military aid to civil authority through conduct of Internal security operations which entails interactions with the citizens.
