President Bola Tinubu is in a meeting with former Governors of Rivers, Benue, Abia, Enugu States, alongside the current Governor of Oyo State.
The group popularly called G5 Governors arrived at the Presidential Villa at 15:20 GMT.
They were led by former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike. Others in the entourage included Samuel Ortom (Benue), Ifeanyoi Ugwanyi (Enugu), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Seyi Makinde(Oyo).
The G5 Governors is a group that emerged as a breakaway group from the Peoples’ Democratic Party, after the presidential primaries of the party, saying their grievances were not addressed by the party.
