Nigerian Singer Tiwa Savage bags doctorate degree
Nigerian singer and star Tiwa Savage has bagged a doctorate degree from the University of Kent.

The music star who completed a degree in Accounting at the University was awarded an honorary degree during its congregation ceremonies at Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals.
“Tiwa Savage will be made Doctor of Music in recognition of her inspirational and international career in music.” the university said.
The 42 year-old Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian singer. Born in Isale Eko, she relocated to London at the age of 11 for her secondary education. Five years later, she began her music career doing backup vocals for artists such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige.
The music star joins the list of Nigerian celebrities who have been awarded doctorate degrees from foreign universities.
