Nigerian Troops Neutralize 152 Terrorists, Apprehend 109

The Nigerian troops have successfully neutralized 152 terrorists, apprehended 109 individuals, and liberated 91 hostages.

In an official statement, Major General Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations, reported that military forces conducted targeted operations against two high-profile terrorist leaders and effectively destroyed their strongholds during the week.

The operations were carried out in Sadiku Enclave in Tsora Hill in Safana LGA of Katsina State and Alhaji Yusuf Enclave at Yadi Forest in Giwa LGA of Kaduna State. 

Similarly, General Buba stated that in the South-South region, troops crippled crude oil theft activities at the following locations through air interdiction: Bugama, Idama, Cawtorne Channel and Krakrama in Rivers State worth over N700 million.

 He added that troops recovered 183 weapons and 4,443 ammunition.

General Buba called upon the citizens to demonstrate their support for Nigerian troops in their efforts to combat terrorism and the theft of oil.
