Nigerian Women Football League Goes Live On Air

The Nigeria Women’s Football League has announced that the first match of the 2022/2023 season between Ekiti Queens and reigning champions, Delta Queens will be be on air.

This will be the first time a women’s League match will be broadcast since its inception of the league since 1990, making it a historic feat.

According to the league organisers, all matches of the new season will be aired by the league  broadcast partners, Afrosport.

The statement released by the league stated that “the broadcast will extend its reach through a network of distribution partners, ensuring fans across Nigeria can witness the historic event.

The following channels will carry the live coverage:

NTA Sport, Wazobia TV, Quest TV, Superscreen TV, Broadcasting Corporation of Abia (BCA TV),Wasannin TCTV, Yobe TV, Delta Broadcasting Service, KSMC Kaduna, Ogun State TV, KWARA TV, KEBBI TV, Osun Broadcasting Corp, Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corp, Katsina TV, Borno TV, Cross River Broadcasting Corporation and Silverbird TV.

League matches can also be streamed through the Afrosport online platform.
