Nigerians Abroad to Celebrate Nigerian Day in the USA

The Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Americas (NIDO) has revealed plans to host the Nigerian Day Commemoration in Sacramento, Northern California, USA.

NIDO is committed to bringing Nigerians together abroad, promoting Nigerian culture, and encouraging cross-cultural understanding worldwide.

In a statement from Gift Ibezim-Eze, the Managing Director of CEKO Ventures & Associates LLC, it was announced that the landmark cultural event is scheduled to take place on May 3, 2025, in Sacramento, USA.

She stated that the event aims to promote Nigeria’s vibrant culture, unity, and heritage in the United States.

“The Nigerian Day Commemoration will offer attendees an immersive experience of Nigeria’s vibrant culture through traditional music, dance, art, and cuisine showcasing the diverse and colorful essence of Nigerian life. The event will attract a broad audience, including Nigerians, Americans, and people from various backgrounds, fostering meaningful cultural exchange and understanding.”

The statement emphasized on the importance of sponsorship for the event ‘We are calling for financial sponsorship to ensure the success of this significant event.

“Sponsorship contributions will help cover event expenses and ensure that we create a high-quality experience for everyone involved. Importantly, proceeds from this event will go towards establishing a fully equipped Old People’s Home in Nigeria, with a special focus on providing Mental Health Services for the elderly’.”

“Sponsorship Categories: Basic Sponsorship: $300 – $1,000 ,Standard Sponsorship: $1,000 – $3,000, Classic Sponsorship: $3,000 – $5,000, Premium Sponsorship: $5,000 – $10,000, Gold Premium Sponsorship: $10,000 – $15,000 and Platinum Sponsorship: $15,000 and above”

“Sponsorship options in Naira are also available for convenience.

“The Sponsorship will directly support logistics which includes, Venue rental, Artist fees and travel expenses, Marketing and promotional activities and Cultural exhibits and interactive experiences.”

However, the statement outilined the gain of sponsorship to individual or corporate bodies which includes, Brand visibility through event promotions and marketing materials, On-site branding and advertising opportunities, Access to a diverse and engaged audience for networking and business development as well as Public recognition during the event and across our social media platforms.
