Nigeria’s Former Head of State lauds Gubernatorial election process

Nigeria’s former Head of State, General Abdulsalam Abubakar has lauded the process of the Gubernatorial and State Houses Of Assembly Elections in Niger State, North Central Nigeria.

General Abubakar was speaking in an interview with newsmen after casting his ballot in Minna, the State Capital.

The Former Head of State while commending the smooth running of voter accreditation said: “It didn’t take me more than one minute to be identified before voting.”

“I hope and I pray everything goes smoothly as I’ve seen in this polling unit”, Gen Abdulsalam stated.

While advising Nigerians to vote for candidates of their choice, General Abubakar urged the electorate to accept the outcome of the results.
