Nigeria’s Rema shines on SNL debut with Ice Spice

Rema’s latest collaboration on the track Pretty Girl with Ice Spice has catapulted him into another dimension of the global spotlight with an exciting debut on Saturday Night Live (SNL).

Rema and Ice Spice, rising stars of the music world, recently graced the iconic SNL stage, a milestone for any artist. The show’s season 49 premiere featured Ice Spice as the musical guest, and Rema had the honour of sharing the stage alongside her.

What made this debut even more special was the surprise ushering by none other than pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Pete Davidson, hosted the episode, making his own debut as a host. He even added his unique touch by performing a personalized rendition of Ryan Gosling’s “I’m Just Ken,” adding an extra layer of entertainment to the evening.
Last night’s SNL episode was particularly noteworthy as it marked the first live taping of the series since May, following a strike by the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) due to negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).
