Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage Reveals What Truly Ends Her Relationships

Nigerian music icon Tiwa Savage has shared her views on infidelity, revealing that cheating has never been a dealbreaker for her in relationships.

In a candid interview on The Receipts Podcast, the 44-year-old singer revealed that every man she has been with has cheated, yet she chose to forgive each time. “I have been cheated on before. I found out and forgave every time,” Savage admitted. “Every man I have ever been with has cheated, and I’ve never left them because of it. I’ve left for other reasons, but not because of cheating. Cheating is not my hill.”

Savage, however, stressed that disrespect is her ultimate deal-breaker. She shared that the pain comes not from the act of infidelity itself, but from the lies surrounding it, particularly when others are aware of the betrayal.

“What hurts is the lies about it. Maybe other people knew and I felt stupid, or they’ve known for a long time, or it’s close to home. The disrespect is what would make me leave, but the act of cheating itself? I’ve never left a man because of it,” she explained.

The award-winning singer shared that her reasons for ending relationships have been diverse, including drug abuse, emotional neglect, ghosting, financial problems, and emotional abuse.

“I’ve left for many other reasons, like drug abuse, emotional abuse, being ghosted, stealing, and financial issues. But cheating? Nah,” Tiwa Savage said.
