NITDA Boss Highlights AI’s Role in Development

The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, recently delivered a keynote address in Jigawa State, located in the northwestern region of Nigeria, focusing on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the development of various sectors, including agriculture and health.

In his speech, Abdullahi emphasized the importance of AI in driving innovation and improving efficiency within these industries. He highlighted how AI technologies can enhance agricultural productivity through precision farming and predictive analytics, as well as improve healthcare delivery by enabling early disease detection and personalised treatment plans.
