NITDA opens applications for ‘DigitalforAll Challenge’ 2.0
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has announced the launch of the application portal for the ‘DigitalforAll Challenge’ 2.0, welcoming enthusiastic participants from all backgrounds to join.
According to NITDA, the challenge aligns with President Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’, aiming to foster a critical mass of digital skills essential for accelerating diversification through digitalization and fostering innovation.
“The Challenge is a free digital skill-building competition and programme to increase digital literacy in Nigeria and igniting interest in obtaining digital skills and certifications using online platforms,” the agency said.

The program, segmented into three categories: Young Learners (Ages 12-18), Youth Category (Ages 19-45), and Civil Servants, offers cash prizes to winners and runners-up in each category.
The champion of each category will be awarded a cash prize of N10 million, with the first runner-up receiving a consolation prize of N7.5 million. Additionally, the second runner-up in each category will be granted N5 million.

In the Youth Category, there exists a specialized sub-category known as ‘Intermediate,’ offering enhanced benefits to participants. The winner of the Intermediate Youth Category will be awarded N15 million, with the first runner-up securing N12.5 million. Furthermore, a cash consolation prize of N10 million will be presented to the second runner-up in this particular category.
Young Learners Category
Applicants must be between the ages of 8 and 18 years and must be students in either primary or secondary school.
“You must complete the training in your school and pass the basic digital literacy assessment to qualify for the competition. Your school and teacher must be registered on the platform,” it added.
“Note: Only teachers actively employed with a primary or secondary school is allowed to register on behalf of their school and students.”
Youth Category
Applicants must be between the ages of 19 and 45 years, must complete training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic or advanced digital skilling program.
Civil Servants Category
Applicant must be a civil servant, must complete training and receive a certificate from the challenge’s basic digital skilling program.

The DigitalForAll program was launched in Abuja as a collaborative effort executed by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA, Tech4Dev and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, to incentivize self-development and promote the adoption and application of digital skills through competitive rewards.
