NITDA has spearheaded various initiatives to expand digital literacy in Nigeria. These include the Digital Literacy for All Programme (DL4ALL), which aims to provide foundational digital skills across all 774 local government areas, and the Digital Literacy Training for Civil Servants, launched in partnership with the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation to upskill 69,000 federal workers.

Furthermore, NITDA has demonstrated its commitment to inclusivity through empowerment programmes for Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWD), such as digital skills training sessions in Kano State. These efforts align with the agency’s broader vision of promoting technological innovation and economic growth through ICT.

The collaboration between NITDA and POWA is expected to drive significant progress in digital literacy and youth empowerment, reinforcing the role of technology in national development. As both organisations continue to work together, the partnership is set to create sustainable opportunities for police families and the wider Nigerian community in the digital space.
