NITDA, Ukraine Strengthen Ties to Drive Digital Innovation in Nigeria
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Ukrainian government have reaffirmed their commitment to advancing digital innovation through strategic collaboration.
The Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa, recently received the Ukrainian Ambassador to Nigeria, Ivan Kholostenko, on a courtesy visit to NITDA’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.
The visit reinforced both nations’ commitment to fostering technological collaboration and innovation.

Discussions focused on strengthening partnerships in areas such as cybersecurity, e-governance, digital infrastructure, and capacity development.
Ambassador Kholostenko emphasised Ukraine’s interest in working closely with Nigeria to advance its digital transformation agenda, leveraging Ukraine’s strong digital ecosystem to develop cutting-edge solutions.
The engagement aligns with NITDA’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP) 2024-2027, which prioritises international cooperation in driving digital transformation. By collaborating with technologically advanced nations like Ukraine, Nigeria aims to enhance governance efficiency, transparency, and public service delivery.
