NNPC, TOTAL Nigeria to jointly promote CNG Autogas
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has held discussions with TOTAL Nigeria on strengthening co-operation to jointly promote CNG Autogas Programme with visible deployment of infrastructure and facilities.
The NNPC also seeks to sustain collaboration on ensuring seamless supply and distribution of petroleum products across the country.
Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, Group Managing Director of the NNPC, disclosed this when he received in audience Mr Stanislas Mittelman, Chairman of TOTAL Nigeria Plc and Senior Vice-President, Africa Division, Total Marketing Services.
CNG, which stands for compressed natural gas, is an environmentally clean alternative fuel; and its combustion process emits a lower percentage of greenhouse gases when compared to other fuels.
