New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP is set to unveil its party manifesto which involves strategies and programmes to garner votes from the electorates.
NNPP’s Gubernatorial Candidate in Kaduna State, North-west ,Nigeria, Senator Sulieman Hunkuyi made this known in an interview with Voice of Nigeria.
Hunkuyi said “today the NNPP has experienced a rebirth and part of the rebirth is the rebirth of the constitution of the party and the manifesto of the party but the most important thing under that manifesto of the party in which people should expect in a very few days or weeks from today for the manifesto of the party to come out is the rebirth of a Nigerian nation the re- launching of the Nigerian polity and a new concept for a new Nigeria for people of all and sundry within the polity coming together to redefine themselves within the party ,within the nation so that live becomes better”.
He also explained that Nigerians should expect something better that will turn around the socio-economic status of every Nigerians.
“The New Nigeria People’s Party is a welfarist’ cultured party and that is what to expect in the final analysis of what is going to come out of the reviewed manifesto of the party,” he said.
On his confidence on winning the gubernatorial election in Kaduna state, he added “I can never contest an election I am not confidently believing to win and I do believe that I am with the people on the new cradle to bring new hope and alternative to people in Kaduna state knowing who Hunkuyi is and most importantly I have traversed the terrain of the two major political parties ,PDP and APC and they have extremely if anything little to bring anything to the people in Kaduna State’.
Senator Hunkuyi further added that “The PDP and APC have failed Nigerians. If what we see in the last 20 years and today is the manifestation and unfolding of agenda of the two major political parties which I do not want to belong and also Nigerians do not want to belong to.”
He said the NNPP was brought in as a credible platform by selection of various personalities across Nigeria, irrespective of religion, ethnicity and Party preference adding that the party’s candidates were chosen based on political credentials that can stand scrutiny to move the country forward.
Senator Hunkuyi said a new crop of leadership is needed in the country that is why “NNPP has sourced for credible individuals with credible character, dependable individuals and enigma of the individuals that have been tested to represent the Party, hence the rebirth of NNPP and the new crop of leadership.”
He said if elected Governor of Kaduna State he will focus on three key areas namely security of lives and properties, enhancing agriculture which has been abandoned due to insecurity as well as creating a frame work that will support the farmers.
Senator Hunkuyi therefore explained that the NNPP will ensure it gains the confidence of Nigerians that they lost to the ruling All progressive Party and the Peoples Democratic party to strengthen the Nigerian democracy that people are clamoring for.
