Osuagwu said this in an interview with the News Men on Friday in Lagos.
According to him, the situation has become worrisome.

Osuagwu said that one of the challenges was the lack of financial support from corporate organisations for film production, which had further limited opportunities for actors.
He called on the Federal Government to take urgent steps to stabilise the
economy, which reflects a broader concern within the industry.
“Generally, the economy is bad and it is affecting everyone from all walks of life. Even actors are not left out.
“There is no job because most producers no longer have money to produce. Even when work is available, producers appeal to actors to just feature without being paid.
“Sometimes we seek sponsorship from corporate organisations and individuals, when we go to them now, they don’t give, they are also complaining.
“The government needs to do a lot on this, we call on the National Assembly, the economic team, and all to look into the current economic situation in the country. It is a difficult period for us,” he said.
