Nollywood Epic Labake Olododo Set for Nationwide Release on March 28
The Nollywood epic film Labake Olododo: The Warrior Lord is set for a nationwide cinema release on March 28, according to its producers.

Renowned Nollywood actress and CEO of Fespris Production announced the highly anticipated film’s release date on her Instagram page, accompanied by its official trailer.
She wrote: “Excited to finally share this masterpiece with you all. Labake Olododo, directed by the brilliant Biodun Stephen, is a powerful story filled with action, culture, and deep emotions.”
The blockbuster is a collaborative effort between Fespris Production, FilmOne Studios, Abazee Productions, and Alaba Ultimate.
The trailer introduces Labake Olododo as a pre-colonial Yoruba epic, exploring themes of loyalty, power struggles, and leadership, with Iyabo Ojo portraying the fearless warrior queen.
The film features breathtaking cinematography, intricate battle sequences, and a rich cultural setting, drawing viewers into a world of warring kingdoms, traditions, and political intrigue.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Biodun Stephen, Labake Olododo boasts an ensemble cast, including Femi Adebayo, Faithia Williams, Kunle Afolayan, and Adebowale Adebayo, popularly known as “Mr. Macaroni.”
