Nollywood’s ‘House of Ga’a’ reserves spot on Netflix Global Chart
The Nollywood Movie directed by Bolanle Peters, ‘House of Ga’a’ has continued on its streak by maintaining its place on the Netflix Global Chart for Non-English Films. Since its release, the Netflix original film has ranked eighth on the streamer’s Global Top 10 Chart for Non-English Films with over 3 million watch hours and 1.6 million views.
Set in the 18th century Oyo Empire, House of Ga’a tells the gripping tale of a power-hungry political figure, Ga’a, who initiates a brutal betrayal of a series of kings. The ruthless leader, desperate for revenge, cruelly rises to the top, stopping at nothing to become more powerful than the kings that he serves. House of Ga’a has been praised for its suspenseful plot and engaging dialogue appeal to both Yoruba and non-Yoruba speakers, keeping audiences hooked from start to finish.
