The forum of North-Central State Governors in Nigeria have mapped out new strategies in addressing challenges confronting the zone, on Security, infrastructure, economy and politics.
The Chairman of the forum, The Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, Who stated this during a meeting of the North-Central zone Governors in Makurdi, Benue State Capital, explained that the forum is presently looking inward to jointly tackle issues affecting the zone.
The Forum according to the Governor, further emphasized on the need for closer ties among the North-Central State Governors, in improving the corporate existence of the country,while Expressing concern on how the North central zone has been short changed in all spheres of development.
The Governor of Benue State , Samuel Ortom,Who hosted the forum, said the Governors of the zone ,lamented on nature of ethno-religious and political Challenges affecting development activities in the Country.
While the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, Who expressed satisfaction with the meeting, urged the forum of the North Central State Governors of Nigeria, to stand together as a unified team by dropping their differences politically, for the zone to achieve the desired goals.
