Chief Coach of the Nigeria Premier League club, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Friday Christopher has parted ways with his employers.
Christopher’s resignation is coming two weeks after the former team’s Technical Adviser, Kadri Ikhana left the club.
The ex-international took charge of the team in acting capacity following Ikhana’s exit from the club.
“Coach Christopher put in his letter days ago but it takes effect from this evening (Tuesday) after the team’s training session!,” the club’s media officer, Jubril Arowolo, stated.
Friday Christopher joined the club in February alongside his mentor, Ikhana who tendered his resignation letter two weeks ago to attend to his health. The management, however wish him best of luck in his next move.
Shooting Stars, widely regarded as one of the traditional clubs in Nigeria, are again flirting with relegation after they barely survived the drop last season.
They are second from bottom of the table with 17 points halfway through the season.
