NPFL: Enyimba International Seeks Victory Against Lobi Stars

17

Enyimba International coach, George Finidi, said the target of his team against Lobi Stars away from home is a win when both sides meet in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match day 29 encounter, at the Lafia Township Stadium in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Finidi stated this while addressing  newsmen ahead of the crucial game. He said that his team will not leave any stone unturned in the team’s quest to take the maximum points. The coach said they will do their best to consolidate its position on  the league table.

“With 10 more games to be played and looking at our position, we want to get a good result. Infact we are going for a win,” Finidi said. “Definitely we do not know how the outcome will look like by Sunday but we are going for victory.”

“We are going to approach the game to win because we do not want to speculate or say at the end of the game this happened and that happened. We will play the game as if we are playing at home.”

“We are going to put in our best to get the maximum points off Lobi. I am optimistic that if we play the way we did against Kano Pillars in our last match, we have a chance in the match,” Finidi added.

Enyimba and Lobi Stars are on second and third position, respectively, on the NPFL table, tied on 48 points with  Enyimba having a superior goal difference.
