NPFL: Katsina United Signs Adekunle, El-Kanemi Warriors Unveil 16

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Katsina United have completed the signings of defender Segun Adekunle from Kwara United, striker Uche Collins from Bendel Insurance and Bashir Usmab from Rangers International.

The Katsina club also signed four other players that include Philip Clement Ogwuche from Abia Warriors, Moses Adikwu from Enyimba, Innocent Arigu from Sunshine Stars and Azeez Falolu completed a permanent move to the side from Libyan club, Al Nasr Zliten.

The club chairman/supervising coordinator Surajo Umar Dalibi witnessed the signing of the new players at the Club Secretariat, within the premises of Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.

Adekunle Oluwasegun Samuel from Kwara United, Philip Clement Ogwuche from Abia Warriors, Uche Collins from Bendel Insurance, Adiku Moses from Enyimba.

Also signed were Bashir Usman from Rangers International, Falolu Azeez Olamilekan from Alnaser Zliten, Libya and Innocent Arigu from Sunshine Stars.

EL-KANEMI WARRIORS UNVEIL 16 NEW SIGNINGS

El-Kanemi Warriors have officially unveiled a new batch of signings as preparations intensify for the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The unveiling ceremony was held earlier this week at the club’s secretariat located within the Colonel Abdulmumin Aminu Camp, Maiduguri. The event marked a step in the Warriors’ bid to reinforce their squad and challenge for top honours in the new campaign.

The club’s media officer, Gaga, confirmed that all newly recruited players have finalised personal terms and are already integrated into the team’s system under the guidance of the coaching staff.

The move, according to the club official, is aimed at boosting squad depth, improving competitiveness, and ensuring consistency throughout the league season.
