Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) defeated Rangers International 3–1 on Match Day 32 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Sodiq Ibrahim opened the scoring for Shooting Stars in the 49th minute, while Rangers International responded in the 69th minute when captain, Nwobodo Chidiebere, struck to level the scores.

Desmond Ojietefisan restored Shooting Stars’ lead in the 78th minute, heading home a perfectly taken cross.

Substitute Adams Mustapha then extended Shooting Stars’ lead with the third goal in the 88th minute, giving the home side a comfortable advantage as the match finished 3-1.

It was a strong and determined performance by Shooting Stars, showing resilience and attacking quality as they earned a vital win at home.

Shooting Stars have won seven consecutive home matches, occupying 5th position on the NPFL table with 50 points from 32 matches. For the title-chasing Rangers drop to second place on the table with 54 points from 32 games.
