The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced that there will be a slight adjustment to the outbound train schedule from Abuja the nation’s capital to Kaduna State Northwest Nigeria on Saturday, 21st February 2026, due to the Federal Capital Territory FCT Council Elections.
The announcement was contained in a Press Statement made available to the Journalist in Abuja the nation’s capital the the NRC Management.
“Accordingly, the outbound train will now depart Abuja at 7:30 a.m. instead of 9: a.m due to the movement restriction announced earlier by the Minister of FCT Barrister Nysom Wike.”
“The inbound service from Kaduna to Abuja remains unchanged and will depart at 2:30 p.m. as scheduled.
“Passengers are kindly advised to arrive at the station early before the commencement of the restriction of movement avoid missing the train. The Corporation regrets any inconvenience this adjustment may cause,” statement reads
