NSCDC intercepts  stolen railway facilities in Niger state

The Nigerian Civil Defence Corps has arrested a truck containing 778 metal railway slippers in Mokwa local government area of Niger state in North Central Nigeria.

The Commander of the NSCDC command in Niger state, Haruna Zurmi, Who confirmed this while parading  the suspected driver of the truck in Minna Niger state capital, mentioned that the railway facilities were vandalized in (Gboko) Makurdi Benue state North-Central part of the country.

According to him a patrol team of his men intercepted the truck with a registration number ESA 960 XJ in Mokwa town Niger state heading to Lagos State in South western Nigeria in Mokwa town on the10th of November, 2021.

He added that the said owner of the alleged stolen railway facilities is still at large.

Commander Zurmi who commended the NSDC security team along Mokwa axis, urged communities to always give useful information to security agencies on any suspicious activities.
