The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, has urged its personnel to bring peace to grassroots communities, saying without peace, nothing could be achieved.

The State Commandant of the Corps, Panam Musa, made the call after a 4km walk with personnel in Kaduna.

Musa charged the personnel to speak peace wherever they go, promoting a culture of peace and reducing criminality.

“By preaching peace, civil defence personnel can positively influence people in various settings, including Mosques and Churches, encouraging them to avoid actions that could lead to conflict or violence.”

Musa noted that in a world facing numerous challenges, including conflicts, inequality, and social injustice, it is more important than ever to promote a culture of peace

He called on personnel to report bullying, support victims, and treat everyone with respect and empathy, regardless of their background or beliefs.
