The Kwara Central Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has charged Kwara Athletes on the 21st National Sports festival in Delta State to remain resolute and committed to winning more medals for the state as the events come to an end.

Mallam Mustapha who is the Turaki of Ilorin in a statement issued to sportswriters, commended the state athletes and officials in Asaba for demonstrating zeal to surpass the past records of Kwara state in the competition, noting that with few days to end the festival, he believes in their ability to win more medals.
The senatorial hopeful and sports enthusiast stressed that the medals won so far by the Kwara state contingents was a reward for sports development and justification of huge investment of the present administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
He pledged not to rest in his oars in promoting sports from the grassroots as means of engaging youth positively.
