NTAC plans to expand its coverage beyond Africa

Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), says it is planning to expand its coverage beyond Africa Caribbean and Pacific countries in the coming year.

Director General of the NTAC Scheme, Dr. Yusuf Buba, stated this during a courtesy visit by a group of Adamawa State indigenes in the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) led by the Director News at the corporation, Mrs. Hussaina Banshika, in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

“The TAC Scheme and strategic role of soft-power diplomacy in an emerging multi-polar global context, where coercion was no longer an option to nation-to-nation relation, the corps has expanded its programmes to multilateral organisations and is planning to even cover countries outside African Caribbean and Pacific in the coming year.

“President Bola Tinubu’s Administration is opening up the globe for greater impact by Nigerians through the TAC scheme,” Dr. Buba stated.

He urged FRCN to continue supporting the Agency with media visibility in its programmes and activities.

While congratulating the NTAC Director General on his appointment and on the impact he has made at the Agency in so short a time, the Director News, Mrs. Hassaina Banshika commended President Bola Tinubu’s choice of the foremost federal lawmaker, Dr. Yusuf Buba for the TAC job.

“Giving his achievements as Chair of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, no one could have run the Technical Aid Corps Scheme better at this time.”

Highlight of the visit was the presentation of gift to the former Director and former lawmaker by the group.
