The Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aids Corps (NTAC), Mr. Buba Yakubu, has called on Nigerians to rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to drive socio-economic development across the nation.

Mr. Yakubu made this appeal during the Ramadan Iftar (breaking of fast) gathering for the agency’s staff and stakeholders held in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

The DG emphasised the importance of using the remaining days of the holy month to strengthen relationships and foster a spirit of inclusivity among all Nigerians, regardless of their faith.

Mr. Yakubu encouraged citizens to embody the values of unity and love for one another, urging them to continuously support President Tinubu’s efforts to reposition Nigeria for lasting greatness.

“Nigerians have every reason to be optimistic about the future,” Mr. Yakubu stated, highlighting the positive developmental indicators achieved by the current administration within less than two years in office.

Reflecting on the significance of Ramadan as a time for introspection, sacrifice, and compassion for the underprivileged, Mr. Yakubu urged NTAC staff to foster a culture of respect and mutual understanding in the workplace. He underscored the importance of unity and teamwork in realizing NTAC’s core objectives and contributing to Nigeria’s broader goals.

The event served not only to mark the holy month of Ramadan but also to engage with staff and stakeholders about NTAC’s efforts in promoting the foreign policy elements of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda over the past year and a half. It also aimed to cultivate unity among NTAC staff, stakeholders, and the Nigerian populace, transcending religious differences.

The Director of Administration of the Agency, Amb. Yakubu Ahmed, expressed appreciation for Mr. Yakubu’s thoughtful initiative.

Amb. Ahmed commended the event for its potential to rejuvenate NTAC’s workforce and enhance productivity in the coming years.

He also noted the importance of sharing the significant achievements of President Tinubu’s administration, which continue to garner international attention through the efforts of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps.
