NWFL Premiership Embarks On Two-Week Christmas Break

In the spirit of the holiday season, the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) have announced a Christmas break for the 2023/2024 NWFL Premiership season, following a thrilling Match day 6 fixtures.

The NWFL Premiership is set to resume action on January 10th, 2024, promising a renewed dose of excitement and spirited competition as teams vie for a spot at the Super Six finals of the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership.

Guided by the visionary leadership of the Chairman, the Nigeria Women Football League has borne witness to exceptional performances, spotlighting the undeniable prowess of the country’s women in football.

Anticipation is high as fans eagerly await the NWFL Premiership’s return from a well-deserved two-week rest and festive celebrations for players and officials in January 2024.

After Match Day 6 of the NWFL Premiership, Heartland Queens and Edo Queens sit at the top of the Group A and B tables with 11 and 12 points, respectively.
