NYSC boss charges prospective Corp members on discipline

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Nigeria, Brigadier General Mohammad Fada has urged prospective Corps members (PCMs) deployed in the 2022 Batch ‘C’ to brace up for the demands of the service year.

 

He stressed the need for the PCMs to obey all the camp rules and regulations as well as ensure active participation in all the scheduled activities.

 

The Director General made the call while addressing the PCMs at the Temporary Orientation Camp in Kaduna, Kaduna State, North-West Nigeria.

 

Fadah, who congratulated them on their graduation from various institutions of higher learning, enjoined them to imbibe the spirit of patriotism, and use the period of their service for contribution to national unity and development.

 

He particularly advised them to avail themselves of opportunities provided by the Scheme for self-employment through the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme.

 

Earlier in his welcome address, the NYSC Kaduna State Coordinator, Mr. Abel Odoba hailed the Director-General for priorotizing the welfare of Corps members, and went on to describe his visit to the Camp as a morale booster.
