NYSC calls for renewed commitment to Scheme’s ojectives

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, has expressed gratitude for the past year’s achievements and calls for renewed commitment in the pursuit of the NYSC’s noble objectives.

As the NYSC community collectively offers thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness and mercies, Brig Gen Ahmed urges everyone to embody goodness and promote harmonious coexistence in society.

Commending the unflinching commitment of the NYSC members and staff, Brig Gen Ahmed believes that greater zeal and dedication will drive the accomplishment of responsibilities in the coming year. Emphasizing the importance of patriotism, he encourages a rededication to the ideals of nation-building for a proud and united country.

The Director General specifically addresses Corps Members, urging them to maintain peaceful coexistence with host communities and avoid actions that could tarnish the image of the country, the NYSC Scheme, and their families.
