The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Akinyemi Nafiu has urged the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps Members to be open to change, lead with confidence, and drive positive transformation with innovative ideas as they bow out of national service.

He gave the charge in a message congratulating the Corps Members on the successful completion of their one-year mandatory service to the nation.

The Director General commended the Corps Members for their dedication, resilience, and significant contributions to their host communities across the country.

Your hard work and commitment to building a new Nigeria have not gone unnoticed,” the DG said.

He reminded the Corps Members that the end of their service year marks the beginning of another phase in life, one that requires courage, purpose, and adaptability.

As you step into the future, I urge you to embrace the challenges that lie ahead. Rise to the occasion and become the leaders our nation truly needs,” he stated.

Brigadier General Nafiu encouraged the outgoing Corps Members to leverage the experiences and skills gained during their service year to chart a path of excellence, reminding them that their role in shaping the future of Nigeria is critical.

“Be open to change, and lead with confidence and innovative ideas. Go forth and represent the NYSC as its proud ambassadors,” he charged.

The nationwide passing-out ceremony for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps Members is scheduled to hold across all the 36 states and the FCT on Thursday, August 8, 2025.
