NYSC DG Visits Corps Members in Hospital

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed has paid a sympathy visit to corps members who were involved in a fatal road accident on their way to orientation camps.

The accident occurred along the Zaria-Jigawa road, and the corps members, Oladele Misturah Abidemi (KD/24A/3804) and Olayiwola Hannah (KD/24A/3805), were on their way to their orientation camps in Jigawa and Katsina States, North West Nigeria.

During his visit to the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna, where the corps members are receiving treatment, Brigadier General Ahmed commiserated with them and commended their patriotic zeal for accepting their deployment for national service.

He assured them that his administration would prioritise their welfare and security.

The Director General also praised the hospital’s management for providing effective medical assistance to the corps members since admission. The corps members, in turn, appreciated the Director General’s fatherly disposition and magnanimity in visiting them.
